Music Tech II
Loop Litchman MD
This live loop has four scenes that are all in a relative key, but have completely different vibes and bring out different feelings in the listener. The first is very intense will base and kick, which then transitions into more peaceful and chill beats. It comes back around with a riser and returns to the first scene and finishes with that.
Robot
Lost in Space
This track tells the story of a rocket launch into space. It starts with the exciting music and is meant to bring a joyful excited feeling. But soon, everything goes wrong, as we hear from the astronauts, and they float in space to an eerie spacial track. Then, the aliens find them, and an upbeat chase track plays. This track tells a story, and brings a range of emotions.
Jungle Zone
This track is broken into three main parts, the first being a very electric sounding beginning, then it segways into a jungle sounding beat with marimba and slower drums. This then comes back into the first part to give it more depth. After these sections, everything stops to create an eerie vibe when the ES1 synth comes in, and leads back into the first again, where everything can work simultaneously.
Cupid La Vida
This is a mashup of Fifty Fifty's Cupid and Coldplay's Viva La Vida. I used the vocals of Chris Martin over the back of Cupid, and sped both tracks up and lines the vocals with the backing. I had a lot of fun with this, though I should've changed the vocals key because they are not entirely in the same pitch.
